The Plight of Delayed Teacher Postings: A Call to Action from Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana

In a press release dated May 9, 2024, the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) urgently addresses the prolonged delay in the Ghana Education Service (GES) posting of newly qualified teachers and its detrimental consequences.

Despite completing their required education and examinations, these teachers continue to await postings, causing significant strain and anxiety.

TTAG calls upon the government and relevant stakeholders to take immediate action to alleviate this issue and provide transparent communication regarding the posting process.
