Mavin Records Celebrates 12TH Anniversary
Mavin Records, one of Africa’s foremost entertainment companies, commemorated its 12th anniversary on May 8, 2024. Founded in 2012 by renowned music producer Don Jazzy, the label has been instrumental in shaping the Nigerian music industry and beyond.
From its inception, Mavin Records has been a powerhouse of creativity and talent, carrying forward the legacy of Mo Hits Records. Under Don Jazzy’s leadership, Mavin Records quickly became a hub for emerging and established artists alike, propelling Afrobeat music to global recognition.
Over the past 12 years, Mavin Records has served as a nurturing ground for numerous iconic artists, producers, and industry professionals. The label has consistently showcased diversity and inclusivity, welcoming talents from various backgrounds and genres.
Notable artists who have called Mavin Records home include Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Korede Bello, and more recently, Rema, Ayra Starr, Ladipoe, and Johnny Drille.
