Lomah Crowned Winner Of HMB-Miss Upper East Ghana 2022
Yintii Esther Yinlomah, popularly known as Lomah, has been crowned as the queen of Happy Man Bitters – Miss Upper East Ghana 2022. The grand finale, held in Bolgatanga, showcased the rich cultural heritage of the region as Lomah stood out among a pool of talented contestants.
Lomah, the representative of the Talensi District, captured the hearts of the judges and audience alike with her grace, beauty, and eloquence. Not only did she secure the coveted crown, but she also scooped the titles of Top Model, Miss Popularity, and Miss Eloquent, cementing her reign as a true queen.
The competition was fierce, with remarkable performances from the first runner-up, Lamisi, hailing from the Bongo District, and the second runner-up, Zampokma, representing the Nabdam District. Lamisi, with her project on reducing maternal death in the Upper East Region, impressed the judges and was also crowned Miss Photogenic. Zampokma’s dedication to caring for people living with disabilities earned her the title of Miss Tap Hotel, along with being an ambassador for the esteemed establishment.
The night was a vibrant blend of beauty, cultural displays, and music, with popular Ghanaian artist B-Wayne captivating the audience. Miss Upper East Ghana, which was established in 2018, serves as a platform to educate and promote the cultural values and heritage of the region, while empowering young women with essential life skills.
In addition to the crown, Lomah received a cash prize of Ghc 12,000.00 and other incentives to support her project on creating awareness about road safety in the Upper East Region. Lamisi, the first runner-up, was awarded Ghc 7,000.00 and other incentives for her project on reducing maternal death. Zampokma, the second runner-up, received a Table Top Fridge and the title of Miss Tap Hotel.
