Queen Lomah, the winner of the fifth Happy Man Beverages Miss Upper East Ghana pageant, has launched her project titled “Creating Awareness On Road Safety In The Upper East Region.”
She and her team will embark on the “Road Safety Awareness and Prevention” education for a week, beginning on Tuesday, May 2, and continuing through Thursday, May 4, 2023.
Activities for the 3-day event include;
PHASE 1 PROJECT OUTLINE
Tuesday: Engagements with road users: motorists and pedestrians
Wednesday: Radio Engagement with resource personnel from Ghana Road Safety Authority and MTTD officials.
Thursday: A visit to two selected schools ( Datuku Junior High School and Kulpeliga Junior High School ) in the Talensi district to educate them on Road Safety and its precautionary measures, as well as to donate some educational materials.
Because of her zeal to ameliorate the conundrum that is claiming lives day in and day out, Queen Lomah was unable to conceal her excitement after the project was launched successfully.
“The excitement is something I can’t compromise. The day is here, the stage is set and the time is up. The launch of my Project is the beginning of an exciting new Chapter in my life. Join me on the road, radio, and social media as we educate to keep ourselves safe on the road,” she said.
Yintii Esther Yinlomah simply known by her stage name as Lomah, the representative of the Talensi District at the Happy Man Bitters – Miss Upper East Ghana 2022 was crowned the winner on Monday, January 2, 2023. She was also crowned Top Model, Miss Popularity, and Miss Eloquent.
