Hughton Calls up Kasim Adams Nuhu as Black Stars Squad Sees Another Change for Madagascar Clash

Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has been forced to make another adjustment to his squad as defender Kasim Adams Nuhu receives a late call-up for the upcoming match against Madagascar. The decision comes in the wake of Alexander Djiku’s injury, ruling him out of the game on June 18.

Earlier, Hughton had already invited Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer to replace the injured Inaki Williams. Now, with Djiku recovering from an ankle injury sustained in May while playing for Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1, Adams has been called upon to fill the void.

Adams had an impressive season with FC Basel in Switzerland and brings valuable international experience, having made 11 appearances for the national team since 2017. There is a possibility that he will feature in the crucial qualifier against Madagascar.

The Black Stars will kickstart their training camp in Accra on Monday, June 12, as they prepare for the upcoming match in Antananarivo. This latest change to the squad adds further intrigue and anticipation to the encounter, as Hughton seeks to assemble a formidable team capable of securing victory.
