Ghana Head Coach Otto Addo Warns of Nigeria’s Vulnerabilities Ahead of Friendly Clash

As Ghana prepares to face Nigeria in an international friendly match on Friday, March 22, in Marrakesh, Morocco, Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has emphasized Nigeria’s strength as well as their vulnerabilities.

Despite Nigeria’s formidable reputation, highlighted by their recent appearance in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final, Addo believes that the Super Eagles are not invincible. While acknowledging Nigeria’s strong squad and impressive performances at AFCON, Addo pointed out that they have shown vulnerability in certain matches.

Addo highlighted Nigeria’s strengths, including their strong and experienced players, offensive prowess, and solid defensive lineup. However, he also noted that Ghana has observed their opponent closely and is prepared to face the challenge head-on.

“We know what we can do and we know how to play against such a host,” Addo stated, expressing confidence in his team’s ability to compete against Nigeria. Despite Nigeria’s impressive run in AFCON, Addo believes that anything can happen in football, emphasizing the importance of a strong start and a determined performance from the Black Stars.
