Wendy Shay Opens Up About Facing Numerous Spiritual Battles Since Relocating to Ghana
Talented Ghanaian artiste, Wendy Shay, recently spoke candidly about the challenges she faced on her journey to success in the music industry after relocating to Ghana from Germany. In an interview with Berla Mundi on the Day Show, the Ruff Town Record signee revealed that she encountered numerous spiritual attacks since moving to her homeland.
When asked if she would change anything about her career journey, Wendy Shay expressed that every step has contributed to shaping her character and personality. The tough and challenging road to success has made her more spiritual, hard-working, and aware of the realities of the music industry.
“It was just perfect because it has made me the woman I am today. It has actually shaped my character and my personality,” she stated.
“It was very tough, hard and challenging but because I overcame that, it has actually shaped me into who I am today,” she added.
Growing up in Germany, Wendy Shay didn’t experience spirituality in the same way as she does in Ghana. However, upon her return to the country, she found herself entangled in spiritual battles. She believes that music itself is a spirit, and there’s something beyond her that attracts people to her performances.
Despite the challenges, Wendy Shay emphasized that overcoming them has been instrumental in making her the person she is today. Her journey has given her a clear sense of purpose, and she now lives a purpose-driven life, mindful of every decision she makes.
