Multitudes Left Wendy Shay’s Concert Disappointed When Shatta Wale Failed To Show Up
Luckily, the concert that Ghanaian songstress Wendy Asiamah Addo, better known as Wendy Shay, organized to honor her fans for making her the most streamed female act on Boomplay, came off successful but with a little bit of disappointment.
The four-day-long hyped concert featured a number of artists who were supposed to perform, as well as a large number of fans who came to see Shatta Wale, the man with the largest fanbase in Ghana.
A lot of fans were disappointed in Wendy Shay for keeping their hopes high even when the concert was ongoing when she knew vividly that Shatta Wale could not make it. When fans were leaving in the middle of the concert, Wendy Shay called them back by saying, “Shatta Wale cannot miss my concert,” making people think that surely the self-proclaimed dancehall king would pass through, but they were highly disappointed.
