Shatta Wale Explains Why He Couldn’t Perform At Wendy Shay And Jupitar’s Concerts
African dancehall trailblazer Shatta Wale famed 1DON has explained why he could not make it Wendy Shay and Jupitar’s events.
Wendy Shay held a successful concert dubbed “ShayGang Concert” on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the West Hill Mall in Accra.
Jupiter on the other hand gave his neighborhood Korle Gono a refreshing treat with his “Live In Korle Gono, Homecoming” Concert at Dr. Bannerman park.
The multiple award-winning musician was part of the artistes on a bill to perform at both concerts held on the same night. However, he could not make it to both events.
Via his Twitter handle, Shatta Wale explained that he is unwell, due to his back-to-back performances during the festive season.
“Sorry I couldn’t pull up for my girl WendyShay and boy Jupitar, Chale I perform too much this December and the ting make I weak ruff ..Me too ano like eating But my Doctor gi mi some cure Ade on am .. kudos to dem all Chale .. 2 solid shows in 1nite” he said.
