Kaleem Hall Emerges Victorious in Tamale College of Education’s 2023 SRC Election Victory Games
Tamale College of Education witnessed an exciting series of events as Kaleem Hall emerged victorious in the Students Representative Council (SRC) Election victory games. The competition showcased the students’ enthusiasm and commitment to their institution.
The journey to victory for Kaleem Hall began on Friday, July 14, 2023, with a remarkable performance against Dakpema Hall. Kaleem Hall secured a resounding victory with a score of 4 goals to 1, setting the stage for their future successes. In another thrilling match, Mischler Hall won their first game against Nkrumah Hall, triumphing with a score of 3 goals to 2.
In the subsequent game, Dakpema Hall showcased their determination and resilience, securing third place by defeating Nkrumah Hall. This victory highlighted the competitive spirit and skills displayed by the participating halls.

The final match took place on Monday, July 17, 2023, between Kaleem Hall and Mischler Hall. It proved to be a closely contested game, but in the end, Kaleem Hall emerged as the ultimate champions with a 1-0 victory.
Parallel to the sports events, the election for the new SRC President was held on July 5, 2023. Soale Razak emerged as the elected President, surpassing his opponent Mustapha Ibrahim. Soale Razak, along with his running mate Abdulai Abass, garnered a total of 820 votes, securing their position as the new SRC President and Vice President, respectively.

The election also witnessed other significant positions being contested, including the Women’s Commissioner. Baba Iklimah emerged as the victorious candidate for this role. Additionally, various other positions such as the SRC Public Relations Officer, Library Secretary, Financial Secretary, General Secretary, and Organizer were sought after.
The election process was inclusive, allowing all students to participate and have their voices heard. Level 300 and 400 students cast their votes on July 5, while Level 100 and 200 students had already voted in the preceding weeks. This ensured a fair representation of the student body and fostered a sense of democratic participation.
The SRC election at Tamale College of Education demonstrated the students’ commitment to democracy and their active engagement in shaping the future of their institution.
