NSS Releases PIN Codes for Final Year University Students for 2024/2025 Service Year
The National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced the release of PIN codes for 133,476 final year Ghanaian students to facilitate their mandatory national service registration for the 2024/2025 service year. This development, disclosed on June 19, 2024, includes students from all accredited universities in Ghana, Ghanaian students who studied overseas, defaulters, and private applicants.
According to the press release from the NSS Corporate Affairs Directorate (Ref. No. PRD/PRESS/06/24), all prospective national service personnel can access their PIN codes by visiting the NSS website at www.nss.gov.gh and inputting their respective school index numbers and dates of birth.
After obtaining their PIN codes, prospective service personnel are required to visit any ADB Bank Ltd. branch to pay a fee of GH¢40.00 or use the MTN MoMo service to pay GH¢41.00 to activate the enrolment process. The registration period opens on June 19, 2024, and will close on July 19, 2024.
The Executive Director of NSS, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi, urged all prospective national service personnel to ensure careful completion of the enrolment process to avoid errors that could affect their deployment.
