Zakaria Sherif, (Born 14th April,1993) is a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter and a stage performer in Wa, the Upper West Regional Capital. He is much known by his stage name, Best Gally.
Born in Wa, Best Gally attained his basic school at Tender Care and Saint Paul’s Methodist in Wa. He then proceeded to Dafiama Senior High School from 2011 to 2014,Where he offered General arts as a course.
Music Career
Growing up, Best Gally developed the passion for music at tender age. He started music professionally in 2013 under the management of Dj Vyper and Free king. Then he later joined Tadaa High Entertainment (TDHE) in 2014. Tadaa High Entertainment was a group of young artists that came together to exhibit their talents, and has artist like,Wiz Malik, Awass, Young Muz33, Ojay, Kritiz, T.k and many more with Cobra as the sound engineer. Under Tadaa High Entertainment, he had a couple of hit singles and played a couple of shows and in 2016, Gally left Tadaa High and joined Team Work Rekordz along side his Tadaa High label mate, Wiz Maleek.
At Team Work Rekordz, Dj Hamid (Big Time) acts as the CEO and Ferdi Skillz was the official sound engineer and Dj Chelsea (Dimbie Jamal) acting as his official PRO. Gally served Team Work Rekordz for a year and part ways again in 2017.
This time, he wasn’t under any label, he took some time and worked on his craft and also, built his fan base and learned sound engineering as well. in 2017, he officially unveiled his fan base as Gally Nation and in 2019, he launched his record label as Wisdom Music with all the portfolios and necessary management board with Prince Banayelibali as his manager and artist like T.K, ReezyBwoy, Gafxity, Skelenzy, Elvee all officially signed under this record label.
