Medikal Dominates London’s 02 Indigo with Sold-Out Concert
Ghanaian rapper Medikal has achieved a monumental milestone in his music career, selling out the prestigious 2,800-capacity O2 Indigo venue in London for his debut UK headline show on May 3, 2024.
This groundbreaking accomplishment marks the fourth time a Ghanaian musician has filled the iconic O2 Indigo arena, joining the esteemed company of Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene, and Kidi. Leading up to the highly anticipated concert, the venue was illuminated in celebration of Medikal’s achievement, underscoring his burgeoning popularity and profound impact on the global music landscape.
A stellar lineup of Ghanaian artists, including Sarkodie. Shatta Wale, Efya, Jay Bahd, Article Wan, Malcom Nuna and others joined Medikal in London to deliver electrifying performances at the sold-out show. Renowned for his rapid-fire rap delivery, clever wordplay, and magnetic stage presence, Medikal has firmly cemented his position as a frontrunner in the Ghanaian music scene. His recent album, “Planning & Plotting,” has further bolstered his stature, contributing to the overwhelming demand for tickets to his London debut.
