The 2023 Ghana Music Awards – UK nominations have been revealed, and the spotlight shines on talented musicians. Ghanaian artists, along with some musical exports from the North, have garnered recognition in various categories.
Leading the pack of Northern stars is Maccasio, who received two nominations for “Dominant Fanbase Of The Year” and “Reggae/Dancehall Song Of The Year” with his hit track ‘Eyes On You’ featuring Stonebwoy. Following closely are Fancy Gadam, Wiyaala, King Ayisoba, and Atongo Zimba, each securing one well-deserved nomination.
Fancy Gadam’s Gadam Nation has also been nominated for “Dominant Fanbase Of The Year,” while Wiyaala, King Ayisoba, and Atongo Zimba earned nominations for their awe-inspiring traditional and Contemporary music in the Ghanaian Contemporary Musician Of The Year.
