Nana Agradaa Rearrested for Alleged Publication of Nude Photos: Ongoing Investigation Unfolds

In a shocking turn of events, Nana Agradaa, the former fetish priestess turned evangelist, has been rearrested by the Ghana Police Service in connection with the publication of nude photos. Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa and the founder of Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, stands accused of sharing explicit pictures of Prophet Emmanuel Appiah Ennin, who resides in Teshie, Accra, on her TV station, Thunder TV, in 2022.

Earlier this year, in February 2023, Evangelist Mama Pat faced charges of non-consensual sharing of intimate images under the Cybersecurity Act, Act 1038. However, the recent arrest on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, raises questions about the specific reasons behind the rearrest, though it is likely connected to the previous charges.

Reported by United Television, Nana Agradaa appeared before Circuit Court 10, presided over by Her Honour Mrs. Evelyn Asamoah, following her rearrest. Pleading not guilty to the charge of non-consensual sharing of intimate images, Agradaa stands alongside four other individuals who have been charged with abetment of the crime, specifically non-consensual sharing of intimate images. The named accomplices include Enock Owusu Kissi, Charles Omane (alias One Gig), Emmanuel Kofi Gyasi, and an individual identified as Andy, who is currently at large.

Subsequent to the court hearing, Nana Agradaa and her four accomplices were granted bail in the amount of GHc100,000.00 each, with three sureties required for every individual. These bail conditions will allow for their temporary release from custody while the legal proceedings continue.

As the investigation into the publication of the nude photos on Thunder TV unfolds, the Ghana Police Service remains committed to uncovering the truth behind this alleged offense. The case serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting individual privacy and the legal consequences of non-consensual sharing of intimate images.

The ongoing investigation will shed further light on the circumstances surrounding the publication of these explicit photos on Thunder TV, ensuring that justice is served and appropriate actions are taken. The Ghanaian public awaits the outcome of this case, hoping for a fair and transparent legal process.

In the meantime, Nana Agradaa and her accomplices are expected to adhere to the bail conditions set forth, while the authorities continue their diligent efforts to bring this matter to a resolution.
