Dr. Paul Azunre, a multifaceted professional excelling in science, engineering, literature, production, and music, has been recognized by the United Nations (UN).
The UN’s High-Level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence (AIAB) has extended an invitation to Dr. Azunre to participate in a consultative meeting focusing on the Governance of Artificial Intelligence, Open Source, and Tech Direction.
Scheduled for May 1, 2024, at 6pm CEST / 12pm EDT, this meeting aims to gather insights from experts like Dr. Azunre to enhance international governance of AI and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The AIAB’s Interim Report, “Governing AI for Humanity,” released in December 2023, outlined critical functions to strengthen AI governance.
As part of its global consultation process, the AIAB is hosting deep dive sessions to explore specific topics, themes, or sectors related to AI. Dr. Azunre’s expertise will undoubtedly enrich discussions on governing AI for the betterment of humanity, aligning with the central mission of the AIAB process.
