Happy Man Bitters Boss Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey Fulfils Pledges To Upper East Music Awards And Miss Upper East Ghana 2022

Founder and president of Charger Limited, producers of Happy Man Bitters, Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, has hosted the 2022 Artiste of the Year, the most popular song of the Year winner, Gospel Song of the Year winner, and New Artiste Of The Year at the Just ended Upper East Music Awards 2022.

This was staged with the Crowned Queens of Happy Man Beverages – Miss Upper East Ghana 2022.

The special event held at the Tap Hotel in Bolgatanga was in fulfillment of a couple of pledges by Dr. Borketey last year for the overall Artiste of the Year, most popular Song of the Year winner, Gospel Song of the Year winner, and New Artiste Of The Year of the Happy Man Bitters – Upper East Music Awards 2022 (HMB-UEMA 2022).

Secondly, to present the cash prizes won by the crowned queens of the just-ended Happy Man Bevregaes Miss Upper East Ghana 2022 (HMB-MUEG 2022).

The Award-winning Group president pledged Ghc20,022.00 for the Artiste of the Year category and Pandy Bobby emerged as the winner. A monthly stipend of Ghc500 for New Artiste Of The Year and Talented Reggae/Dancehall star Jah Bone emerged as the winner. The Most Popular Song of the Year winner was also promised Ghc5000, as well as Ghc4,000 for the Gospel Song of the Year winner.

Similarly, the Miss Upper East pageant winner, Miss Lomah was awarded GHc 12,000, while the first runner-up, Miss Lamisi received GHc 7,000. “I and Charger Limited’s commitment to recognizing and supporting the talents of young women in the region are unwavering,” He underscored.

He made the most of the opportunity to speak to the region’s young creatives, particularly musicians, and stressed the significance of investing in their craft and making use of the platforms that are available to make their music heard worldwide. “I firmly believe that the Upper East Region is brimming with talent, and with the right push and motivation, these creatives will make their mark on the world stage.”

Speaking as a key stakeholder in the Region’s entertainment industry, Dr. Bortey stated that “I am proud to contribute to the growth and success of the creative industry in the Upper East Region through my support and motivation. With continued efforts, I am confident that these talented individuals will achieve remarkable success and make their mark in the world of creativity.”
