“You Are a Life Savior” – Chief of Mirigu-Nabango Praises Charger Limited CEO for Borehole Donation
On Saturday, June 15, 2024, the Upper East regional team of Charger Limited inaugurated a newly installed borehole, a generous contribution by the company’s CEO, Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, for the residents of Mirigu-Nabango in the Kasena Nankana West District of the Upper East Region.
Dr. Borketey, Founder and CEO of Charger Limited, known for products like Happy Man Bitters, Black Legend Blended Coffee Gin, and HM Life Mixture, has consistently demonstrated his commitment to social responsibility. His recent initiative to provide a borehole for Mirigu-Nabango further solidified his dedication to uplifting marginalized communities.
This newly installed borehole promises to significantly enhance the quality of life in Mirigu-Nabango by ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water, addressing a critical need for a community that has long struggled with water scarcity and contamination.
The Chief of the Mirigu-Nabango traditional area, Naba Atuguba Atogumzoya Benjamin II, expressed profound gratitude to Dr. Borketey. He highlighted the severe risks posed by the lack of clean water, which had affected both humans and animals, posing significant health threats. He hailed the borehole as a lifesaver and lauded Dr. Borketey as a savior for the community.

This borehole will alleviate the burden of fetching water, especially for our women and children, and will greatly improve our health and quality of life.
