Stonebwoy Sets Sights on Filling London’s O2 Arena: “All I Need is Date and Promotion”

Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy is aiming for the stars with a bold ambition to fill London’s iconic O2 Arena, boasting a capacity of up to 22,000 spectators. In a recent interview with Property FM in Cape Coast, Stonebwoy shared his insights and strategies for drawing massive crowds to major venues.

“Successfully filling a venue like the O2 Arena hinges on meticulous planning and effective promotion. It’s about choosing the right date and making sure the event is well-publicized,” Stonebwoy emphasized.

Drawing from his extensive experience performing at large international venues, Stonebwoy feels prepared for the challenge ahead. He recounted recent performances alongside Davido at Madison Square Garden and appearances at major reggae festivals in Austin, which have honed his stage presence and audience engagement skills.

Stonebwoy’s resume extends to even larger venues, including the World Cup stadium in Qatar and Summer Jam, where he’s accustomed to commanding massive crowds. His local event, ‘Ashaiman to the World’, consistently draws significant audiences, further solidifying his understanding of large-scale event dynamics.

Reflecting on a memorable moment from two years ago when he joined Davido on stage at the O2 Arena, Stonebwoy expressed confidence in his ability to replicate that success. “The experience of having the crowd sing back my songs was incredible. Considering that, I’m confident that filling the O2 Arena is well within reach,” he concluded.

With determination, meticulous planning, and effective promotion, Stonebwoy is poised to make his mark on the international stage, aiming to fill one of the world’s most renowned venues and solidify his status as a global music icon
