Savannah Region’s Titiaka Crowned Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 Winner
In a thrilling and emotional grand finale held on October 6, 2024, Savannah Region’s Nihad Titiaka Ibrahim made history by becoming the first-ever contestant from the Savannah Region to win the prestigious Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) crown. Titiaka captivated the judges and audience alike with her powerful performance on the theme of child marriage, passionately highlighting its harmful effects and making a heartfelt appeal for everyone to join her in the fight against this practice.
During the Questions and Answers segment of the night, Titiaka was asked, “Will you encourage the next generation of women to participate in governance?” She began her response with a profound proverb from In the Chest of a Woman, a play by renowned Ghanaian playwright Efo Kodjo Mawugbe: “In the chest of a woman is not only an extension of the breast and a feeble heart, but a strong one capable of making brave decisions.” With this powerful quote, she laid the foundation for her eloquent and insightful response, further solidifying her reputation as a brilliant and inspiring advocate.
