Acxionboi’s ‘Strike Concert’, The Future of Paga/Navrongo Entertainment Industry

Paga/Navrongo in the Upper East region was the center of attraction as it hosted the maiden ‘Strike Concert’ by promising Reggae/Dancehall Star, Acxionboi.

Patrons were treated to electrifying performances from some of the Region’s most sought-after artistes including Fasetwo, Jahbone MP, Acidic Ranking, and Kweku Melody among others at the Graceland Hotel on April 30, 2023.

Curated by the rising Star to project his roots and provide a platform for underground talents to showcase their capabilities, upcomers were allowed to shine at an unforgettable night of entertainment and excitement.

According to blogger and author Gh Blinks, thousands of music fans from all walks of life in the region attended the event.

The patrons were given mindblowing experiences that will linger in their minds for years to come. The concert will go down as one of the biggest musical concerts of the year in the region.

In the coming years, the “Strike Concert” will become one of the biggest, most well-known, and most popular musical events in the region if taken seriously, supported by stakeholders, and consistent.

Despite competition from six other Dancehall musicians, the president of the Ahuu Nation was recently named the Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste Of The Year at the Upper East Music Awards 2022.

He faced off against Acidic Ranking, Jahbone MP, Ras Trusty, Ragga Star, Lyrical Vybes, and Rolex B, but he prevailed over them in the vote of the public, board, and academy members.
