The CEO of the AmenEast Gospel Mr. Aadongo Emmanuel has advised the organizers of the Upper East Music Awards and their sponsor Happy Man Bitters to stay focused on the mission that they seek to achieve with the scheme.
Speaking on Yem Radio’s Morning show with Godfred Awindenaba on Wednesday, 12th April 2023, the ‘Asaalawoo’ hit maker, cum winner of the Gospel Song of the Year category in the 2022 Upper East Music Awards calls on the organizers as well as their sponsors not to allow the attitude of people in or outside the region to destruct their vision.
“What I will tell them is that: they should not allow what people do to destroy what they are doing for the music industry of this Region; people will say all manner of things but they should stay focused and make sure they achieve the aims of the awards scheme”.
He also described the Upper East Music Awards scheme as the best thing that has ever happened to the entertainment industry of the Upper East Region.
“In fact, nobody has ever done what they are doing for us in this region, there are people who have everything it takes to organize awards in this region but nobody thinks about it so if tHappy Man Bitters takes it upon themselves to do this for us, I will say that they should not be destructed by anything”.
He went on to advise Artists in the Upper East Region not to take the awards scheme for granted but to make good use of the Upper East Music Awards Scheme to promote their talent and the region as well
