Miss Dumba 2025 Officially Launched at the Wa Naa’s Palace
On Saturday, 14th June 2025, the Wa Naa’s Palace was filled with excitement, culture, and pride as the third edition of the Miss Dumba Beauty Pageant was officially launched and the contestants were outdoored in a colorful ceremony.
A total of 11 beautiful and confident young ladies were unveiled as contestants for this year’s edition, under the theme: “Showcasing the Beauty and Uniqueness of Different Cultures.” Chiefs, queen mothers, families, and cultural lovers came out in their numbers to witness the event.
The ceremony began with warmth welcome and words of encouragement from the traditional leaders. Each contestant appeared in stunning traditional wear, representing different tribes, and introduced themselves with pride and grace with their traditional dances. The excitement and energy in the palace showed just how much this platform means to the people of the Upper West Region.
Organizers reminded the audience that Miss Dumba is not just about beauty, it’s about purpose, identity, and promoting our rich culture. Now in its third edition, the pageant continues to grow stronger each year, empowering young women and keeping tradition alive.
The show will run for 10 weeks, with performances every Saturday night at the Wa Naa’s Palace. Each week promises something new, talent displays, cultural exhibitions, speeches, and more. With the journey officially begun, these 11 young women are ready to not only compete for the crown but also represent the strength, beauty, and uniqueness of their cultures. Miss Dumba 2025 has officially taken off.
