George Britton Steps Down as Camidoh’s Manager After Successful Three-Year Collaboration

Renowned talent manager George Mensah Britton has announced that he is no longer managing Afrobeat sensation Camidoh. The duo’s professional partnership, which spanned three fruitful years, saw the rise of Camidoh to international stardom with hits like the award-winning “SugarCane.”

Speaking to GhanaWeekend, George Britton elaborated on the amicable nature of their parting ways: “There is no bad blood between us… Our 3-year contract has elapsed and I have now relocated to London so since I couldn’t get enough time for myself, I decided not to renew the contract.”

Britton, who has also successfully managed the celebrated Ghanaian music group Keche, emphasized that he remains on good terms with Camidoh despite no longer overseeing his career. “I now do PR work for most of the artistes… I am also doing other stuff for myself… We are still friends just that I don’t manage him any longer.”

Camidoh, whose real name is Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, continues to thrive in the music scene. He recently released “Nothing Lasts Forever,” a poignant track that marks his return to the industry after a brief hiatus. Co-produced by Nawtyboi Tattoo and Baba Wood, the song explores the complexities of love, emphasizing the importance of reason and mindfulness in relationships.
