The celebration continues! The Tertiary Young Women Awards (TYWA) is back for its second edition, and the spotlight is once again on bold, brilliant, and visionary young women across Ghana’s tertiary institutions.

TYWA is a powerful platform dedicated to recognizing and empowering young women who are shaping Ghana’s future through entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and social impact. After a successful maiden edition, TYWA 2025 promises to be even more inspiring and impactful.

The mission is simple but transformative: to contribute to Ghana’s socioeconomic development by acknowledging and motivating young women to keep pushing boundaries. When women succeed in school, business, advocacy, or leadership, they not only elevate themselves but also spark change within their communities.

With over 20 categories, the awards shine a light on exceptional women excelling in areas such as fashion, media, agriculture, entrepreneurship, politics, and social activism. But TYWA goes beyond trophies and applause — it builds capacity.

All nominated finalists will benefit from entrepreneurship training by Afritech Hub, TYWA’s official training partner for this year. This initiative aims to equip participants with practical skills to scale their ideas and businesses, ensuring that recognition is paired with real growth.

And yes — there are rewards too! The overall winner (based on votes and meeting set targets) could take home a brand-new motorbike, with other amazing prizes lined up for top contenders.
