Ghanaian hip-hop sensation Fad Lan has been nominated in the Unsung Category of the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), marking a significant milestone in his burgeoning career. Competing alongside artists such as Romeo Swag, Kojo Uypa, Kaesa, Ess Thee Legend, and Yaw Darling, Fad Lan’s nomination indicates his rising influence in the Ghanaian music scene.
Born Iddrisu Maltiti Fadilan on December 1, 1998, in Tamale, Ghana, Fad Lan has carved a niche by infusing his native Dagbanli dialect into diverse musical genres, creating a unique sound that resonates with audiences nationwide.His commitment to promoting Dagbanli Pop culture has earned him recognition as one of the fastest-growing artists from Northern Ghana. In November 2024, Fad Lan released his sophomore album, “I’m a Problem,” a 17-track project featuring collaborations with prominent artists like Reggie, Kwaku DMC, and O’Kenneth.
