Alaye Geng Lends a Helping Hand: Donates to Save Dephine Karelia Baduweh

Rising music trio, Alaye Geng, has extended a compassionate gesture by donating an undisclosed amount of money to assist Dephine Karelia Baduweh, a nursing trainee at Zuarungu Nursing Training College, in her fight against End-Stage Kidney Disease.

The donation, made on January 18, 2025, reflects the group’s commitment to using their platform for impactful causes. Dephine’s condition, which demands urgent and continuous medical attention, has placed an immense financial strain on her family.

She currently undergoes dialysis at the Renal Unit of the Tamale Teaching Hospital, with each session costing GHC400. While dialysis offers temporary relief, her survival depends on a life-saving kidney transplant, estimated at $35,000, to be conducted outside Ghana.

Dephine Karelia Baduweh is a young woman with a promising future, aspiring to become a nurse and serve her community. However, her dreams are now clouded by the financial challenges of securing her medical treatment.

Alaye Geng’s donation serves as a beacon of hope, inspiring others to join the effort in giving her a second chance at life.

The public is encouraged to contribute towards Dephine’s treatment through the following channels:

MTN Mobile Money:

Every contribution, no matter how small, brings Dephine closer to the life-saving care she desperately needs.

Alaye Geng’s act of kindness reminds us all of the power of collective effort in changing lives. Let’s rally behind Dephine, offering not just financial support but also hope for a brighter future.

May God bless Alaye Geng and everyone contributing to this noble cause.
