Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, And Samini Must Apologize For Not Supporting Me Or Else – Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak

Chef Faila’s remarkable attempt at breaking the Guinness world record for the longest individual cooking marathon has garnered significant support, but it seems dissatisfaction lingers.

In a recent interview on Joy Prime, Chef Faila expressed disappointment in top Ghanaian musicians, including Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Samini, for not supporting her during the record-breaking endeavor.

Despite notable personalities, including high-life musician Kwabena Kwabena, showing support by traveling from Accra to Tamale, Chef Faila believes that the absence of these music bigwigs sends the wrong message. She stated, “If something bad had happened in the north, they would have been talking about it. Not a single musician showed up in the north for this project. Not Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini. I can sing their songs, and I have been doing videos for them on social media, so they owe us an apology.”

Chef Faila clarified that she continues to appreciate their music and will support their projects despite the perceived lack of support during her Guinness World Records attempt.

The call for an apology has sparked conversations about artists’ responsibilities to support various initiatives within the regions they draw inspiration from and the broader implications for the Northern music scene.

Meanwhile, Chef Faila’s accomplishment awaits recognition from the Guinness World Records.
