Shatta Wale As A Whole Needs To Be Studied By Our Educational Institutions – Socrates Safo Argues

His name is always almost mentioned every day in the Ghanaian entertainment space amid his varying controversies and his sometimes absurd actions. Shatta Wale is once again in the news, as prolific Ghanaian film maker, Socrates Safo eulogizes the Dancehall honcho.
Socrates Safo has admonished that institutions and Ghanaian entertainers make conscious efforts in studying about Shatta Wale as a marketable personality with much of the studies being emphasized on his marketing strategy as a showbiz mogul.
While appearing as a guest on UTV’s Showbiz Show, Mr Safo argues that the marketing strategies and promotional packages put in place by Shatta Wale and his team are so good, they need to be studied by institutions and other entertainers for the betterment of the Ghanaian music industry and the entertainment industry as a whole.
Speaking to Nana Ama Mcbrown, the veteran film maker revealed “even though Shatta Wale happens to be one of the most controversial musician in Ghana, he should be used as a case study to many upcoming musicians because of his ability to market himself and his brand effectively”.
He further revealed Shatta Wale can be used by institutions to teach students ohe topic of marketing.
