Social media, especially Facebook in the upper east music circles and beyond was stunned when the artiste of the year for Upper East (NEA) Rockcity, revealed that one of it’s members, Rockcity Teers had decided to quit music and take up a management role in the crew.
Arguably the best music group in the North, Rockcity is no longer a group of four but three.

While fans were nursing their mixed feelings, the Typical Bongo Boys decided to make the hashtag “#TheMatterChopHot” trend with various funny stories which the fans joined in on, for the past couple of weeks. The excitement kept well-wishers of the group guessing what “the matter” really was.
Come to find out, as revealed on their social media pages today, the hashtag was actually the title of their new song to be released first on Audiomack, on Wednesday, 30th September 2020. The song is produced by Master C and features the 3 Music Next Rated Act: Soorebia.
