The National Service Scheme (NSS) has taken a significant step in facilitating the enrollment process for Ghanaian Trained Teachers by releasing the first batch of PIN CODES for 13,353 eligible individuals. This initiative aims to streamline the mandatory national service enrollment for the 2024 service year.
As announced in a press release dated Monday, February 12, 2024, eligible trained teachers are urged to visit the NSS website (www.nss.gov.gh) to commence their online enrollment process. The release emphasizes the importance of timely registration, with enrollment commencing on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, and concluding on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
To gain access to the main enrollment platform, eligible teachers are required to pay a registration fee of GH¢40.00 at any branch of the ADB Bank. Alternatively, payment can be made via MTN MoMo at a slightly higher rate of GH¢41.00.
It is emphasized that all eligible trained teachers should personally complete their online enrollment within the specified timeframe. This proactive approach ensures a smooth and efficient deployment process for national service.
This release underscores the NSS’s commitment to supporting the professional development and service obligations of trained teachers in Ghana. By facilitating the enrollment process, the NSS aims to ensure a seamless transition into their one-year mandatory national service.
