NPP Intolerance: Artist (Kawute) sidelined for Not Supporting the Party

In a shocking display of political intolerance, renowned Dancehall musician Kawute was removed from the lineup of performers at the commissioning ceremony of the BK Adama Multipurpose Youth Resource Centre in Wa, Upper West Region. The reason? His open support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and John Dramani Mahama on social media.

The musician has displeasure over NPP in Wa for removing his name from the flyer and eventually not billed him to perform again. His removal traces back to when he supports the NDC and John Mahama on social media. This  he said in his displeasure,

“Some Wa NPP foot soldiers and bitterness is like shoe and lace. 🤣 I was called and billed to perform at the commissioning ceremony of the newly built Youth resource center which gone be today in Wa. And after the event flyer was done and posted on their npp Whatsapp platform, for confirmation, i learnt somebody like Baba Waala and co. went on my Facebook account and screenshot a picture of HE. @John Dramani Mahama which i posted. and repost it on that their npp Whatsapp group to indicate that I’m not an npp member, and for that matter, they cautioned the event organizer to take my picture off the flyer and to also take me off the show as well. this is not politics, this is pure hatred. everyone is entitled to support whichever party he likes. i can’t be ur enemy just because I’m an NDC. cos i have families and friends who are npp members my Dad in bole is a very serious npp member and every npp dignity within bole and it enclaves knows him very well, my Dad was given a brand new motor bike by the npp chairman of Savannah Region just last two months. So bro this ur kind of politics is outmoded. nowadays they don’t do politics with bitterness. this is old style.

If you’re to use only Artists who are npp members for the event, trust me Mr. Wab will be the only act on the show, but because Kawute is from Bole you intentionally opted me out. 😂

how can Hajia Humu win Wa central parliamentary seat when people like you are still associated with the npp?
