In a brief interview on the red carpet of the Afronation in Miami, Florida after his performance, he expressed his fascination with the tall buildings in Miami, noting their resemblance to structures commonly found in video games.

Although not initially scheduled to perform, Black Sherif was introduced on stage at the Afronation concert by the renowned Nigerian artist Burna Boy. The duo delivered an electrifying performance of their collaborative track, the second song by Black Sherif featuring the African Giant himself. Their showmanship captivated the audience and left them wanting more.

The highly anticipated remix of “Second Sermon” was released on December 8, 2021, and quickly amassed millions of views on YouTube. Additionally, the official video of the original song, released on July 16, 2021, has already garnered over ten million views on the platform.

Buoyed by the success of the remix, Black Sherif traveled to Nigeria to perform at Burna Boy’s concert in Lagos, further solidifying their musical connection and collaborative spirit.
