Meet the Top 16 Contestants of the Miss Upper East Ghana 2024

The highly anticipated Miss Upper East Ghana 2024 beauty pageant, organized by Ayelbis Events and sponsored by Happy Man Bitters, has unveiled its top 16 contestants. These remarkable young women were selected from a competitive pool of 28 contestants through both virtual and in-person auditions. The event promises to yet again showcase the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the Upper East Region on a grand stage.

With the stage now set for the 7th edition of the prestigious pageant, these 16 ladies, representing various districts across the Upper East Region, will compete for the coveted title of Miss Upper East Ghana. This year’s edition is supported by prominent sponsors, including Kussa Shea Bliss, Luxie-Trendzgh, Masoyi Hospitality Services, Bel Aqua, Bel Beverages, and Bel Ice.

The contestants were officially unveiled on September 14, 2024, via the pageant’s social media platforms, giving the public their first glimpse of the beauty and talent that will light up the competition.

  1. Asoze (Abugre Mahmudu Sakinatu) – Representing Bawku Municipal, her passions include modeling and dancing.

2. Asumbowine (Adakabila Asumbowine Agnes) – From Kologu, Kassena Nankana Municipal, with hobbies like cooking, singing, and modeling.

3. Asabila (Asabila Abigail) – A proud representative of Zuarungu, Bolgatanga East District, who loves poetry recitals and singing.

4. Afelie (Abunlog Selina Afelie) – Representing Wiaga, Builsa District, her interests include reading, movies, and cooking.

5. Akempu-usa (Atorigo Augustina Akempu-usa) – From Kandiga, Kassena Nankana West, she enjoys reading and listening to music.

6. Munira (Halidu Munira) – Representing Sabon Gari, Bawku Municipal, with passions for cooking, writing, and modeling.

7. Aposiyine (Amoah Aposiyine Winifred) – A representative of Koka, Bolgatanga East District, who enjoys dancing, modeling, and reading.

8. Toateba (Toateba Deborah) – Representing Baare, Talensi District, with a love for singing and reading.

9. Ayinpoka (Ayamga Rita Ayinpoka) – Hailing from Bolgatanga Municipal, she enjoys modeling, cooking, and listening to music.

10. Ayinsum (Ayinsum Deborah) – Representing Balungu, Talensi District, her hobbies include watching movies and playing video games.

11. Asingama (Esther Asinga) – From Bongo District, her interests lie in reading, cooking, and singing.

12. Amisonga (Freda Nsobila Amisonga) – Representing Winkongo, Talensi District, her passions include cooking, photography, and dancing.

13. Tirim (Tirim Gifty Awaab) – Hailing from Chuchuliga, Builsa North District, she enjoys cooking, singing, reading, and modeling.

14. Nyanebu (Amana Salifu Zekiatu) – Representing Zopeliga, Pusiga District, she loves music, dance, volunteering, and traveling.

15. Winpiini (Saiba Zulfatu) – From Bawkzua, Bawku Municipal, she enjoys drawing and reading.

16. Maalie (Brenda Ajaab Awonimaalie) – Hailing from Wiaga, Builsa District, her hobbies include writing, painting, and cooking.
