Teflon Flexx, who is a versatile artist from the Upper East Region of Ghana, also happens to be the medalist of the Unsung Category at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA21) kicked against the view that the second audion of the Upper East Music Awards (UEMA20) forms should be sold out to the qualified applicants. “I’m 100% against the view of the artist having to pay for nomination forms b4 he or she can file for nomination in the upcoming UEMA20,” he said
This was said by the fast soaring artiste when he was hosted by Showbiz Hour in the studio of Yem Radio on Sunday, 6th September, 2020.
He further explained that,
Artist in the northern sector makes literally no proceeds for the works they struggle to put out there;
He also added that;
these awards schemes are organized by business minded people to make gains from the sweat of these struggling artist and their fans.
