FLAMEBWOY Aims for Artiste of the Year at Upper East Music Awards 2024
Bolgatanga, Ghana – Rising Reggae/Dancehall artiste, FLAMEBWOY, has set his sights on winning the prestigious Artiste of the Year award at the Happy Man Bitters – Upper East Music Awards 2024. His optimism was evident during the plaques and incentives presentation ceremony held at Tap Hotel in Bolgatanga on July 12, 2024.
In his speech, FLAMEBWOY expressed deep gratitude to the CEO of Happy Man Bitters, Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey for the generous sponsorship, the organizers of the awards scheme, One Luv Entertainment and all his supporters. Reflecting on his recent successes, he highlighted the significance of winning the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year and New Artiste of the Year awards, which he achieved at the last edition.
“These awards have motivated me to work even harder,” FLAMEBWOY stated, adding that he is now more determined than ever to secure the ultimate accolade of Artiste of the Year. His recent victories were not only symbolic but also came with a financial reward, as he was awarded 6,000 Ghana Cedis, a summation of his 500 Ghana Cedis monthly stipend over 12 months for winning New Artiste of the Year.
The ceremony was attended by influential figures from Ghana’s music industry, including record producers, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs, all gathered to celebrate and support emerging the talents.
