Event Organizers Couldn’t Afford My Charges This December – Fancy Gadam
Tamle-based award-winning artist Fancy Gadam says he was not billed for any musical show this festive season because event organizers couldn’t afford him.
One of the busiest months of the year is December. A lot of musical concerts and events are slated for this month. In December, Afrochella and AfroNation are concerts that make waves.
According to Fancy Gadam, he supported his brother at the Bukom Arena but did not play any show this December.
“This December I didn’t play shows, I supported my brother at the Bukom Arena. Maybe you would have to ask the event organizers. I don’t know maybe they are scared of my rates, maybe”, Fancy Gadam said when asked why he didn’t play shows this December”.
Speaking in an interview on GHOne TV, Fancy Gadam says that event organizers couldn’t afford him because he would not take anything less than a GHc100,000.
“You know if you want somebody who can fill the stadium at your show you know how much you would pay. Like Ghc 100,000. I can’t say they don’t have that money but maybe using me and other artists might have cost them”. He bragged
