Dolores Aveiro, the football icon, Christiano Ronaldo’s mother, has responded to reports that she used witchcraft on Georgina Rodriguez, her son’s girlfriend.
Rodriguez, a Spanish-Argentine model, and Ronaldo have been together since they met in Madrid in 2016.
After the superstar, who is 38 years old, left Manchester United in January to join Al Nassr, they now live together in Saudi Arabia.
However, it had recently been reported in a Portuguese newspaper that Aveiro had used witchcraft to divorce the couple.
According to DAILY POST, Dolores never wanted her son to be with Georgina Rodriguez, according to a Cuban psychic.
“I affirm that today, May 16, 2023, I activated my lawyers to clear my good name for my family and for what they represent in my life,” she wrote on Instagram.
She said that the piece of news published in the well-known Portuguese newspaper where her image was tarnished and her family was abused “false, slanderous and even macabre where it talks about horrible acts that possibly they would have ordered me to do to take away my happiness from one of them my children, this slander is false, malicious and unfounded.”
She pointed out that such news would not go down well with some of her grandchildren who are already reading and listening to people and criticisms.
“And that is why I will not give up until this newspaper proves everything that was written today,” she said.
