Ahmed Mohammed Basir, born in Kumasi to Alhaj Zakaria and Hajia Habiba is known in show biz as Wiz Child. Wiz Child had his early education at the Tiyumba M/A primary school and proceeded to the Tiyumba JHS. He pursued his SHS certificate in Otumfuo Osei Tutu II College in Kumasi.
The Legend boy was signed unto a Recording Label tagged Do More – Talk Less Music Group (DMTL) by the Unflagging manager Peter Maxwell in the year 2016 with other prestigious artistes in the likes of Fadlan and others, when he (Wiz Child) was still pursuing his SHS certificate.
Wiz child is a very good vocalist who is fast becoming a household name after he recently released a track that was widely embraced in the North titled; ADAHA. He started developing his passion for music in the mid 2000s. His nomadic lifestyle has accordance him the pro’s of singing in many Ghanaian and foreign languages including: Dagbani, Twi, Hausa, French and Arabic.
According to the Legend boy, love and motivation is what inspires him to do music .The fastest growing vocalist says he looks up to all time singers in the North like: Ahmed Adam, Abu Sadiq, Omar Sterling down south and the American Legend; Chris Brown in his music career. How ever, he takes Brymo of Nigeria as his role model.
In the year 2018, the versatile artiste released his debut album dubbed “ADAHA ALBUM” which was a compendium of 12 unquestionably tracks with one bonus track.Tracks like Adaha and Mama were hits throughout that same year and still making waves up till date.
