Ataman Nikita Joins Forces With Dr. Pushkin On ‘Enigma’
Ataman Nikita, known off-stage as Richard Azunre, has officially ventured into the music industry with his debut single, “Enigma.” This song, which hints at the mysterious aura surrounding his persona in Bolgatanga, marks the beginning of his journey as a professional musician. While many in the Upper East Region know him as a network administrator and lecturer at Bolgatanga Technical University, his emergence as an entertainer has long been shrouded in intrigue.
“Enigma” is not just a single; it’s also the lead track from Ataman Nikita’s upcoming album, set for release in the last quarter of 2024. The song features Dr. Pushkin and showcases Nikita’s unique blend of influences, drawing from his diverse background. Born to a Russian mother and a Gurune father, Nikita spent his formative years in Russia, Ghana, and New York, before settling in Ghana to pursue a career in education and IT.
Despite his professional commitments, Nikita’s passion for music has always been evident, particularly through his collaborations with his brother, where his distinctive voice has contributed to numerous hits. His transition to music was announced with a feature on the tracks “Still Here,” and “Enigma” which further solidified his new artistic path.
