Artist Profile : Maaseg Dagaati | OneMuzikGh

Maaseg Edwin, born 17th October, 1993 is better known by his stage name Maaseg Dagaati, is a Ghanaian rapper from Nandom, Gou to be specific.

Maaseg Dagati was the winner of Afro Pop Song of the Year at the Progress Upper West Music Award (PRUMAS) in 2016. His debut album was titled “Son Of The Savanna” which was an Ep in 2017.

Early Life and Education

Maaseg Dagaati was born in Berekum, in the Brong Ahafo region, and he attained his basic education at St Augustin Primary School in Lawra, in the Upper West Region and also Agogo Presbyterian College of Education Basic School. After studying Business at Konongo Odumase Senior High School, he is now a student a Bagabaga College Of Education, in Tamale.

Music Career

Started music professionally in 2015 with a group called the Legacy Empire, which has artist like, Kwame Baah, who was the CEO, Kweku Darlington of Tv3 mentor reloaded fame, Enzym, Jay Scratch, Henry jnr, Tee- boi. But now runs’ his own label, the Blue Printz, though the Legacy Empire still exist. He has a couple singles like, My Success, Love somebody, Years Gone By and 100% Dagaati. He has featured artists like, Gandaw OJ, Kritiz, Best Gally, and many more.
