Michy: Ass has become an asset for this generation of ladies

In a recent interview with Accra FM, media personality Michy opened up about the increasing influence of men on women’s decisions to undergo body enhancements. The Ghanaian celebrity expressed her concerns regarding the societal pressure many women feel to alter their bodies to conform to a specific body shape perceived to be preferred by men.

Michy highlighted that a well-enhanced butt has become an asset in this generation, leading women to believe that undergoing such procedures can bring significant positive changes to their lives, including opportunities to travel and live a more comfortable lifestyle. She implied that men are likely the ones supporting and investing in these body modifications.

“In this generation, the ass has become an asset, and it looks like there’s a stereotype, there is a type of body you are supposed to have which has become the new normal among women. Off late, when you enhance your butt, you go on holiday, you buy Benz and other cars. I don’t know how that came about, but I think you men are the ones investing in that. Because if you ask, they will tell you that is what the men like,” Michy expressed during the interview.

However, Michy’s own experiences provide an interesting perspective on the matter. While she admitted to having undergone several surgeries, she made it clear that her decisions were not solely driven by cosmetic reasons but also for other personal considerations. Despite the societal pressures, Michy proudly asserted her comfort with her current body shape and expressed no desire to undergo any further enhancements.

“I have been through several surgeries, not just for cosmetics but for other stuff as well. We are lucky to be alive. When I remove my clothes, I love the way I look when I am naked. When I am in a dress, you’ll think I have flat buttocks, but when I remove my dress and look into the mirror, I look sexy. I am fit, and that is all that matters,” Michy confidently stated.

Her candid remarks shine a light on the complexities of societal beauty standards and the impact they can have on women’s self-perception and decisions. Michy’s decision to embrace her body as it is sends an empowering message to others, encouraging them to feel comfortable in their own skin and challenge the notion that body enhancements are a prerequisite for self-worth and success.

In a world where external appearances often dictate beauty standards, Michy’s words serve as a reminder that true beauty comes from confidence, self-acceptance, and embracing one’s unique individuality. As society continues to grapple with these issues, it is essential to foster a culture that celebrates diversity and empowers individuals to make choices based on their own preferences and well-being, rather than external pressures.
