Fella Makafui Denies Body Enhancement Claims, Credits Natural Beauty to Genetics
In a recent interview with popular Ghanaian blogger Zion Felix, actress and socialite Fella Makafui has addressed the ongoing rumors surrounding her alleged body enhancements. Dismissing the claims, Makafui confidently attributes her curves to genetics, specifically mentioning her mother as the source of her voluptuous figure.
The trend of Brazilian Butt Lifts and other forms of body enhancement has gained popularity among Ghanaian celebrities, but Makafui firmly distances herself from that narrative. Refusing to be included in the roster of Ghanaian socialites who have opted for artificial means to enhance their bodies, she declares, “I got it all from mama and not any doctor.”
Makafui, who rose to fame through her role in the television series “YOLO” in 2016, asserts that her body has always been the same throughout her career, with fluctuations due to natural weight gain and loss. Defending her stance, she challenges skeptics to consider her mother’s physique, emphasizing her natural endowment.
Beyond the discussion of her physical appearance, Makafui also addresses the negative attention and social media backlash she faces as a public figure. Describing herself as one of Ghana’s most trolled personalities, she reveals her strategy for dealing with online criticism. “I don’t read the comments. I just come, post, and go. It is hard for me to read comments of what people post about me. They don’t know you; it is just on social media… clearly what I do on social media is not me,” she explains.
