Tems is a singer, songwriter, and record producer from Nigeria. She is the first female artist from Nigeria to win a Grammy award.
Tems shine at the 2023 Grammy Awards, where she won her first award for the song “Wait For You,” which has been featured by Drake and was co-written with American rapper Future.
The song finished ahead of Kendrick Lamar’s “Die Hard” for Best Melodic Rap Performance.
Tems has therefore become the first female Nigerian artiste to win a Grammy.
